GOOD BYE JITTERS!
77 tips to overcome your fear of public speaking

J.A. Gamache’s new book, the English version of TRAC pas TRAC; j’y vais!, is coming out in the fall of 2007 !

Research shows that more people are afraid of talking in public than to die ! “Good Bye Jitters! is the only book written on the art of public speaking that begins with a psychological explanation of how stage fright works” explained Gamache. I wrote this book to help; to say that it’s OK – you are normal. If you are afraid of public speaking it’s because your brain functions normally. You are healthy.” (Read the full article in La Presse)

Gamache is familiar with the turmoil; he used to be a shy and introverted man. In his book he discusses his own crusade on the frightening path of public speaking.

Whether you are a CEO chairing a shareholder meeting, a student presenting an oral term paper or a parent speaking in front of the PTA committee, Good Bye Jitters! teaches you strategies and tips to control and overcome the fear of public speaking.

Some comments about “TRAC pas TRAC j’y vais!”:

“This is not a book that one reads once and then forgets. This is a book that one keeps close to oneself and that one consults regularly to continue to improve as speaker or presenter. Though being a trained speaker and coach, I discovered things that I did not know, and others that I used without realizing their mechanics. In brief, a fascinating, useful book and that I have not finished discovering!”
Louise Vincent, Coach and Speaker

“In his book Good Bye Jitters! J.A. goes well beyond passively describing the “What-to-Do” and right into the nitty-gritty of the “How-to-Do it”. May I suggest to you that the message in his book become your source of empowerment as you continue to conquer the fear of public speaking.”
Peter Fallnbigl, Keynote Speaker and Coach
