He won the 3rd place in the World Championship of Public Speaking in 2001 and 10rd place in 2005. More than 25 000 people participate to this prestigious competition each year.

In 2003, he was the president of the Montreal’s Chapter of the Canadian Association of Public Speakers (CAPS).

More than 2500 readers read J.A.’s articles every week. His free e newsletter “Public Speaking with J.A.” is read in 47 countries over the world.
